CLI FBWF is like a firewall for the C:\ drive. Folders can be created for applications to direct persistent writes, or the entire c: can be protected (default). To make changes to the WES 7 image the FBWF must be DISABLED. By default the CLI gold images is in the ENABLE state. Common usage for this would be a database that needs to write a log file to some folder location on C:\ .
In the lower right hand corner of the screen (next to the time) there is an icon that looks like a lock and key, this is the WES Management Tool.
1. Hover the mouse pointer over the icon and Right Click the mouse.
2. A menu appears and you can select the FBWF Configuration Tool option.
3. The top option is FBWF status, hit the CHANGE button.
4. A warning message stating that the device needs to reboot for the change to take effect, Reboot device.
