ET3000 No Communication (No Comm)

Problem: When using STATIC address, auto-started sessions may not connect to host (CE3 only)

Discussion:

On version E0332, and version M0331 cannot ping the ET3000 from any other device when the terminal is powered on.  The ET3000 acts like it is no comm to the network.

Solution:

To fix this problem do the following...

-From ET3000 session Manager screen, press F2
-Click on Security Tab
-Select Ping before connect, and/or enable failover, and/or enable security, add user, click ok, reboot terminal
-Now gets sign on screens every time...sessions connect...when terminal is rebooted

Or

Perform Firmware upgrade to at least version E0356, or M0356 to fix this problem so workaround is not needed.
