Problem: No sound on RDP client.
Cause: By default settings of the Microsoft Windows 2003 Terminal Services, sound is not enabled for the clients.
Solution: Enable sound for Terminal Services clients
-Login to server as Administrator
-Run TERMINAL SERVICES CONFIGURATION
-Click CONNECTIONS folder
-Right click on the CONNECTION listed on the right side panel
-Click CLIENT SETTINGS tab
-Click off AUDIO MAPPING (so there is no check mark in the box)
-Logoff client, Login again on client.
-Client now has sound
