Autostart Chrome browser dual monitor UB10 Linux

Last Updated: Sep 21, 2018 02:05PM PDT

Problem:  Cannot get CLI Linux Thin Client to auto-launch two Google chrome sessions on two different monitors.

Solution:  Download patch  Autostart-browser-dual-monitor.zip

1. Login as root user, install patch wmctrl_1.07_i386.deb
2. Login as User, add the Menu Bar (temporarily)
3. Start/Preferences/Startup Applications/Add

Syntax usage for the command is startup.sh “http://yourwebsite.com”  “http://yoursecondwebsite.com” (make sure there is a space after the command, and each website)
4. Save, CLOSE
5. Remove the custom start menu by right mouse click “remove from panel”
6. Reboot, done

NOTE: The above is for Ubuntu 10 based versions
